On a number of occasions in public arenas young children blurt out awkward statements. How would you handle such a situation if you were the mother or father – because we know children around the age of six are very inquisitive? One funny which happened was:
A young child in church blurted out: “Jimmy’s mom told him they are getting alimony because alimony is a disease you get from being married. Mommy, what is alimony?

Most parents commit a “shush” with the fingers over their mouth at the time. And then later, when it is more convenient and in private , explain to the child. We all know that children show much more ability and knowledge with our TV exposure in today’s world. So we never know what will leave the mouth of a child.
