It looks like Congress needs to review all of the departments in the government’s policies for firing standards. When you are required to pay someone to resign when the person was convicted of being a child molester and someone who imitated a police officer – I believe the government has a problem.
The company that I worked for had certain standards in which an employee had to adhere to and if any were broken the employee was immediately asked to resign or be fired on the spot – no ifs, no ands, and no buts. If you committed a crime and were found guilty – firing was immediate. Why does the government always tie their own hands on such a simple decision?
