For what reason would anyone do this other than to have an advantage in society?  All of our lives we are told we can be and do whatever we want in America, so this is one person’s way to get ahead.  And to think –  she was a white person posing as a black person and the leader of the NAACP?  It does prove, you can be whatever you want to be – until you are caught red-handed.  Same thing as Elizabeth Warren going through life posing as a Native American Indian to have that one-up advantage in life.
