Following is some advice from Dr. James Manning  about the past.   Dr. Manning is asking the white people to stop being afraid of talking about race and slavery to the black people. We must get past thinking in terms of color and stop walking  around this subject.  None of the people living in America today had anything to do with slavery.  As he stated, we must put the facts on the table and encourage the black people to be a responsible part of society and stop playing the victim and wearing this badge on their sleeve.
