This is a terrible disease. My sister came to live with us and had this disease. The disease ravages the mind and the person is in their own world and slowly loses any prior memory. The care of the person is very important in that agitation is a big factor and the person has to be constantly cajoled. The reasoning behind this is the person in five minutes will have forgotten the prior incident. Constant safe approval is necessary and compassion, love, and patience is a necessity. Here is hoping and praying for a solution to this big problem.
