We can sympathize with this dog because we are going through these same feelings. Our Beau has been gone a year and we still talk about him every day and things he did. We talk about trying to adopt a new puppy; but, then, do not want to go through the training of the puppy and the responsibility since we do travel a lot.
I think about the many times we left him with the vet and were not happy with his care; and, then when we found our dog sitter things were so much easier.
