I’ve been in touch with a college fraternity brother who lives in Orange county, CA. He went to the Trump event yesterday and sent me a narrative of the outside activity, since he was too late to get a seat in a stadium that holds 31,000.
His estimate is that there may have been a couple of 100 protestors, max, and they got all the news making them seem much more numerous. Not so! So, the media continues to distort reality. No surprise there.
Dave included some pictures from outside showing cops and peaceful folks waiting to get in the event.

Hi Brother Bill, I got my (free)ticket and went to see Trump speak at the OC Fairgrounds yesterday but I gotthere too late and was locked out because the amphitheater was filled to overcapacity. Crowd size inside was over 31,000 and there were another 7000+/- like me outside that didn’t make it in. The crowd was atypical cross-section of “Middle America”(not just pissed off old white guys like me).

The line to get in was literally over a mile long and everyone was well behaved and respectful except for a small contingent of no more than a couple hundred protesters consisting mostly of Mexican gang bangers and obvious paid agitators from outside the area that had assembled at the front gates where everyone else entered. All the“drive-by” TV networks were there with their big vans and helicopters circling above. There was heavy police presence on horseback and on foot, well armed but showing great restraint (God Bless ‘em. How do they do it?).

When I arrived late in the afternoon and finally took my place near the end of the (very long) line, the protestors were getting very loud and becoming quite offensive showing signs saying F….k Trump, We Hate White Racists, etc., and several were cruising around on skateboards blasting hateful anti-trump rap music  (I use the term“music” loosely) on their boom boxes and there were several vehicles cruising the perimeter streets with car loads of young punks all flying Mexican flags.

There was even about 15 “Moslems” whowere down on their knees supposedly bowing down to Allah but they didn’t seem to know where the direction toward Mecca was in the East because they were all pointed north (which I found hilarious). Trump began about 7:30 and you could hear the roar for him outside as he took the stage. The size of the crowd was a record and you could tell it was a “Trump Love Fest” inside with all the cheering and chanting (Trump, Trump, Trump………USA, USA,USA,etc.).

Most of those of us that got turned away (while disappointed but glad that the turn-out was so big in Trump’s favor) began to dissipate and leave by then; but, I stuck around a little longer out of curiosity. As it got darker, the “protesters” got bolder and began to escalate their offensive tactics.  Of course, the“drive-by media” was pandering to them as if to encourage them to start some real trouble (focusing their cameras on them, interviewing them,etc.).

By that time it was dark and I decided to head back to the car which I had to park over a mile away. I was glad I was packing my trusty Pepper Spray because it got a little creepy walking down the dark streets alone with all the commotion starting to escalate and punks in their cars and trucks cruising around looking for trouble. So, I listened to Trump’s speech on the radio on the way home and watched later at night on Hannity.

It was pretty much of a standard Trump speech, yet it would have been nice if I could have gotten in to experience the synergy of 31,000like-minded people. Of course (as Trump always points out), the media failed to mention that 99% of the record-sized, law abiding crowd was there to support him nor did they pan around the amphitheater to show all the well behaved and respectful Trump supporters inside or even to feature the folks that Trump introduced at the start of his speech who had all lost loved ones who had been murdered by illegal aliens.

It was clearly an overwhelming“love fest” for Trump but to watch the late night news, you would have thought that it was a war zone. NOPE. It was just another carefully orchestrated diversion to distract everyone from the real message delivered by Trump. I’ve attended several OMG (Obama Must Go) rallies over the last few years so this obvious media bias comes as no surprise to me but I am still amazed at how much the media is willing to distort and falsely report the real truth. At least now, close to 40,000 Trump supporters here in Orange County know that now, too.
Build the Wall, Build the Wall, Build theWall………………..

You made it to Trump rally? Saw the idiots rioting outside on news this morning.  Can’t wait to see results from Indiana on Tuesday. Only 243 to go to get the nomination.
