John Kasich
The math for the Republican presidential nomination is tight, and only conservative businessman Donald J. Trump has enough delegates to possibly avoid a contested RNC convention later this summer in Cleveland, Ohio.
His opponents Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Ohio Governor John Kasich are supported by the establishment. But now, Kasich has made a massive announcement… He believe’s HE will be the Republican Presidential nominee!
He believes his underdog status and “moderate” views make him the perfect candidate for the establishment to select in Cleveland:
Republican presidential candidate Gov. John Kasich of Ohio has no conventional path to the GOP nomination, but this has not discouraged the race’s underdog from continuing his campaign.
Kasich is confident the Republican primary is headed to a contested convention and, under that scenario, the delegates will entrust him with carrying the party’s banner into the general election.
Having only won his own home state of Ohio, Kasich currently has only 143 delegates. He could win every delegate remaining in the primaries and still not have enough to clinch the nomination.[…]
“There’s two strong things I have going for me,” Kasich said. “No. 1, I beat Hillary Clinton in virtually every poll. I’m the only one that does it on the Republican side.”
(Has this guy lost his lid? Doesn’t he realize the Soros Media – ABC, etc., are only reporting that to make the leader, Trump, look bad in the eyes of the people who are voting for Trump? If you believe anything the media reports – I have a Hawaiian beach front property in the desert of Texas that I want to sell you. Where is this Kasich guy coming from – he has only won his state – that’s it? Doesn’t he get the hint that people don’t like him because he is a former Wall Street Banker and a former/present Elite Republican?)
The governor also cited his record on job growth and foreign policy experience, concluding, “I believe that a convention will look at somebody like me and that’s why I think I’m going to be the nominee … And we’re going to have an open convention.”
Kasich thinks a convention would be a fun cultural event.
“Kids will spend less time focusing on Bieber and Kardashian, and more time focusing on how we elect presidents,” Kasich said. “It will be so cool.”
The governor’s rhetoric against Trump and Cruz has intensified since the end of March. Blasting Trump’s erratic policy positions and Cruz’s alleged lack of accomplishments, Kasich calls it his responsibility to remain in the race, according to The New York Times.
As Trump has noted at a recent rally in the Badger State, “If I didn’t have Kasich, I automatically win.” When asked why Kasich won’t drop out, Kasich replied, “Look, people say, ‘Why does he stay in the race?’” Kasich said. “What, am I supposed to get out and leave it to these guys?”
Kasich may be delusional, but there is clearly a reason why his donors are allowing him to continue his race to the convention. After all, when the convention rules change, anything is possible.
(Reason his guy is George Soros who is his donor – the funder of all the riots in this country and funding Clinton to the teeth. I think Kasich has lost it – saying the convention will be magical. Where are the white coats – when are they coming in to pick him up.? Poor guy the Elite Republicans are making a fool out of him.)
