GOVERNOR WALKER AID STEPHAN THOMPSON SAID SYKES AND OTHER CONSERVATIVE RADIO HOSTS IN THE STATE DRIVE THE AGENDA IN GOP PRIMARIES.
WOW – what power by dinky radio hosts – not TV but radio hosts.
Wisconsin needs to make up its own mind and not listen to three radio announcers or the governor to make up their minds as to who they are going to vote for.
It is sad that the people of Wisconsin do not want to think for themselves but rely on the local radio stations or the governor to make their decision on who to vote for in the election coming up this next Tuesday.
When the radio newscaster admits that the people of Wisconsin follow their orders – then our country is in a heap of trouble.
Just think these radio hosts say they are conservative, okay, but if they are following the likes of the Elite Republican Party then they are following the wrong cow – Trump is the only true common sense conservative that can make changes – surely the people of Wisconsin have seen Cruz in action on the Senate floor where he has not accomplished anything and cannot get along with his fellow workers – so how is he going to get them to work with him as the president. Is Cruz going to continue writing executive orders like Obama – outside of the Constitution?
The Elite Republicans who claim to be Republicans have not voted for any conservative bills – they have voted with Obama and the Democrat Socialist/Muslim party for eight years – fooling the people of America and bringing our country to the brink of disaster.
If they are following Governor Walker’s selection of Ted Cruz then we understand why the governor did not fair well in his race for the presidency and had to drop out.
Is that the problem with our people in America – they don’t want to make a decision and lead – they want to be lead by the nose. That is why America is in the shape it is in.
As news consumers, we need to wake up and alert others to the inconvenient truth in which media standards are not consistently applied or embraced when events on the ground clash with the view as imaged by the news-making community. As famed behavioral psychologists point out time and time again.
“We effortlessly and intuitively ‘see that’ something is true and then we work to find justifications of ‘reasons why’ which we can give to others.”
Below you see two LIBERAL reporters for the Associated Press who are reporting on the Trump story in Wisconsin. With the proliferation of new media outlets and changes at established ones, it’s incredibly hard to keep track of the thousands of outlets and reporters tackling hundreds of topics and beats.
Thomas Beaumont is from Davenport, IA, so does that mean he is trying to smear Trump with a leftover from the Iowa voting process. And then you have Scott Bauer, an associated press reporter from Madison , WI, who is siding with the liberal reporters. Surely the people of Wisconsin see they are being mislead.
Now follow the bouncing ball of two liberal reporters who give you the unfair report.
By THOMAS BEAUMONT and SCOTT BAUER, Associated Press
BROOKFIELD, Wis. (AP) — Donald Trump is trying to defy convention yet again in the 2016 race for president — this time, by winning an election in Wisconsin without the support of the state’s influential conservative talk radio hosts.
(If the people of Wisconsin vote according to the three radio hosts who think the Elite Republicans are the cat’s meow – they are being lead astray. Surely the people of Wisconsin know that the Elites have jumped the ship and are no longer Republicans and have joined the Democratic Socialist Muslim Party – and have voted for every bill presented by Obama.)
The Republican front-runner tried to lay some groundwork for his campaign in interviews Monday with three of the state’s leading conservative talkers, including WTMJ radio’s Charlie Sykes — to whom Trump confessed on-air not knowing that Sykes is a leading voice against his candidacy. Two interviews later in the day didn’t go much better.
(This report just tells you how Trump goes under fire knowing the background on these three reporters and still meets with them to let them know he can work with anyone. The report sounds like the whole news thing is slanted and was a set up with the three radio talk show hosts to make Trump look bad. And then when the governor turned to Sykes to make his announcement – that even clarified the set-up even more.)
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker turned to Sykes’ Milwaukee-based show to announce he was endorsing Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and not Trump, in a Tuesday morning interview. Cruz’s supporters cheered loudly as Walker’s endorsement was played live over the sound system at a rally outside of Milwaukee.
“Ted Cruz is in the best position by far to both win the nomination of the Republican Party and then go on to defeat Hillary Clinton in the fall,” Walker said.
Walker aide Stephan Thompson said Sykes and other conservative radio hosts in the state drive the agenda in GOP primaries.
“They are the biggest endorsement,” Thompson said.
Walker would know.
He won the 2010 Republican primary for governor, and later the office itself, with support from Sykes and his unofficial counterpart in Milwaukee, WISN radio’s Mark Belling.
That year, Walker beat Republican rival Mark Neumann overwhelmingly among voters within earshot of Sykes and others on the air in Milwaukee — especially in the suburban counties that surround the state’s largest city. That’s the core of the metro area’s conservative radio audience and home to almost half of the state’s Republican voters.
Two years later, Sykes and other conservative hosts backed Mitt Romney in the state’s Republican presidential primary. The former Massachusetts governor won by crushing former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum by more than 20 percentage points in the Milwaukee area.
Trump didn’t appear all that ready for his round of talk radio interviews on Monday. For example, when asked about his past criticisms of Walker on Sykes’ show, the billionaire businessman failed to mention that he donated $10,000 to Walker’s re-election campaign in 2014.
(As usual, a talk show host doesn’t know and realize – when you are a business man – you try to get along with everyone and donate to both sides.)
The lack of preparation was notable given the importance of the state’s 42 delegates. A solid win in Wisconsin by Cruz would likely require Trump to win the five remaining winner-take-all contests to avoid scrapping for the nomination at a contested national convention this summer.
Sykes in the morning and Belling in the afternoon — both deeply critical of Trump and his candidacy — have built a wide following in nearly 60 years combined behind the mic. They reach a metro Milwaukee audience of more than 500,000 people a day, according to their stations, and more among those living in the state’s interior.
There are other conservative talk radio hosts at those stations, too, as well as other voices in pivotal parts of the state, including Jerry Bader in Green Bay and Vicki McKenna in Madison.
On Monday, Bader hammered Trump in an interview for his threats to file a lawsuit over how Louisiana selects its delegates to the Republican National Convention.
Trump went on to hang up on McKenna at the end of a combative interview, during which she challenged his incorrect assertions that Cruz’s campaign was behind an ad campaign that featured a risque photo of his wife, Melania.
“There’s just something about Wisconsin that’s got just a really robust conservative talk radio infrastructure,” said Collin Roth, managing editor of the conservative website Right Wisconsin, for which Sykes also writes.
Sykes endorsed Cruz last week and invited him to attend a conservative forum in GOP-heavy Waukesha County to Milwaukee’s west. Sykes had long been a vocal opponent of Trump, a fact lost on the billionaire businessman when Sykes interviewed him by phone Monday morning.
“Before you called into my show, did you know I’m a hashtag Never Trump guy?” Sykes asked, referring to a Twitter designation for people united against Trump’s candidacy. “That, I did not know,” Trump replied, even though it was Trump’s staff that called to set up the interview.
Sykes had asked Trump earlier in the interview if he would apologize for indirectly mocking Cruz’s wife. He was referring to Trump’s retweeting last week of an unflattering image of Heidi Cruz.
(The lurch into personal territory normally off limits in campaigns came as an anti-Trump super PAC ran an ad in primary states that features women reciting derogatory comments made by the billionaire about women. The ad was produced by Our Principles, a group founded by a former Mitt Romney campaign adviser who is trying to help the Republican Party appeal to more women. So, if Sykes is so fair and balanced why didn’t he invoke Cruz’s campaign – who is working with Mitt – and who widely distributed a photo of Trump’s wife? Why because it was not part of the governor’s plan. Do they not consider Trump’s wife a woman and it is okay to do dirt on her? Oh? these men are so stupid – I hope the people of Wisconsin see thru this charade.)
“I didn’t start it. He started it. If he hadn’t started it, nothing would have happened,” Trump replied.
“We’re not on a playground. We’re running for president of the United States,” Sykes replied.
(That was a put down for sure on Trump. Sykes had his mind made up before Trump ever landed in Wisconsin. In fact the map that Cruz used to travel through Wisconsin was given to Cruz by the governor who used that same map in his campaign.)
(With the guiding light of the last two sentences tells me he was on Cruz’s side. When a reporter is covering a story he covers both sides of the story – not just the one he wants to criticize.)
May God help the people of Wisconsin see thru this and vote for Trump because – if not – we will continue to be on the losing side in America. Cruz is not an American but a Cuban American and there is a big difference.
To the Wisconsin people “never look a gift horse in the mouth?”

Here you have a business man trying to save the country, using his own money, and spending his time running for office when it is a hard job and the powers that be in Wisconsin want to stick with a guy who is a lieing lawyer and politician, who has lived and worked in Washington and has not achieved one damn thing and that is who the professed radio talk show hosts recommend.
If the country used the laws that were set up for running for office – Cruz is not even eligible to run for office – just like Obama – we are doing the same thing over. Why are they doing this – because they know they can control Cruz because he is a part of the Bush I One World Order crowd, Wall Street, and Washington lobbyists cartel and they will control Cruz. Trump is not backed by anyone and will work for the American people.
How do we expect to change our government if we don’t go out on that limb with Trump and pick the fruit?
