It looks like Germany takes home the GOLD for the most strange Christmas tradition.  In Germany they hide a pickle in the tree on Christmas Eve and the person that finds it the next morning gets a small gift.  So, if  you want to start a new unusual tradition in your home, here it is.  The Longhorn Express reporters Kinley Burns and Gus Sagraves reported this in their newspaper dated December 15, 2015.
