Cruz: Trump Will Not Be Nominee

At a campaign event in Coralville, Iowa on Monday, Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz said he does not believe Donald Trump will be president or the party’s nominee.

“I don’t think it is good advice for us to get in the business of blasting each other,” Cruz said. “I don’t believe Donald Trump is going to be our nominee. I don’t believe he’ll be our president.”

Cruz is entitled to his own opinion – but to make a blank statement like this is like throwing a steak on a hot grill and not adding any seasoning.

There has to be some reason for him to make this blank statement.  I know each candidate hangs out all of the trip-wires  they can so the other candidate will fall.  Is that what Cruz is doing? Or does he know something the people don”t?

Has Cruz gotten into the weeds with the Establishment – something doesn’t pass the smell test here or is his rich backers making him say this?
