In a newly released email from Hillary Clinton’s private email account, a State Department staffer ensures Clinton that they have “planted” questions for CBS’ 60 Minutes to ask Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
“Madame Secretary, a very quick update. I just received confirmation from 60 Minutes that a piece on Julian Assange will air Sunday night,” Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs Philip Crowley wrote Clinton in January of 2011.
“We had made a number of suggestions for outside experts and former diplomats to interview to ‘balance’ the piece,” Crowley continued. “60 Minutes assures me that they raised a number of questions and concerns we planted with them during the course of the interview. We will be prepared to respond to the narrative Assange presents during the program.”
The revelation comes after the last batch of Clinton emails revealed that she was fed questions ahead of a Meet the Press appearance.
The devil is always in the details. As usual, the media is in cahoots with the Democratic Socialist and Muslim Party.
