Looking back and reliving the “Operation Fast and Furious” scheme which was attempted by the Keystone Cops of a corrupt and deadly Obama Administration.  This scheme was a joint Justice Department-Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) gun-running operation that the Obama administration cooked up to bolster support for gun control in the United States (US).  And, you know what, they got caught with their britches down.  

The reckless idea behind this scheme was to allow guns to find their way into the hands of Mexican drug cartel members who would use them in criminal activities, which the Obama administration would then dishonestly claim to be evidence of the need for more gun control.  

Incredible – but true!

Literally, this plan included the government telling some gun store owners to sell guns – as many guns as they wanted – to known criminal gun-runners?  Apparently, ATF figured the next time they would see the guns would be at a crime scene.

What a stupendously stupid, dangerous, and immoral scheme.  

And just one more example of the lawless Obama administration corruption government agencies (in this case ATF and the Justice Department) in order to advance its political agenda, just as it did when they used the IRS to target conservative political groups and individuals   (and that has still not been brought to the fore front).  But unlike the Obama IRS targeting scandal, Operation Fast and Furious also exacted a toll in human life.  This Obama scandal resulted in body bags!

Some of the weapons used in Fast and Furious were implicated in the December 2010 murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and hundreds of innocent Mexicans – all in order for the shameless Obama administration to lie about the need for more gun control!

It’s clear that the entire “operation” was a bust in every way.

How could people at the ATF and the Justice Department be so cynical and reckless to think that putting guns into the hands of criminal gangs was a good idea?  But as bad as this politically inspired, incompetently managed operation was, the real story lies in the Obama administration cover-up?  Congress’ began its investigation of Fast and Furious in 2011.

 Congress ran into a full-scale Obama administration stonewall.  But, not for the first time, a congressional subpoena didn’t move the arrogant and lawless Obama gang.  Obama asserted EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE – an outrageous claim under the circumstances.  Obama even went so far as asserting executive privilege in order to withhold emails between Holder, his wife, and his mother.  But in the end Judicial Watch was able to extract the information through the court system. 

It is important for all of you to understand how committed Obama and his administration are to advancing gun control regulations through the back door and undermining your gun rights.  

It is important for all of  you to understand how committed Obama and his administration are to keeping the American people in the dark and ignoring and circumventing our nation’s open records laws.  

And it is most important for you to understand only Judicial Watch uses powerful and expert teams of government records investigators and lawyers to effectively use the legal system and the courts to stand tall for your gun rights and hold the Obama administration accountable under the law and to the American people.

We must support this group because Congress just doesn’t have the time and will to help the American people.  Fast and Furious isn’t the only thing on Judicial Watch’s plate.  

Again, all of us should support this group as much as we can because they are the only group who is looking out for the American people.
