Your dear leader is such a cry baby! The White House strategy has been to delegitimize Fox News, the one television news outlet that just won’t fall in line and treat him as an emperor.
Just look at that big old tear streaming down his face!
This has been going on for six years or more. It seems he just can’t get them in line to think like he does. He has to realize there are different strokes for different folks. Thank goodness – because the majority of the news people are liberals and progressives, i.e., NBC, CBS, ABC, and MSNBC and the Associated Press are full of foreign correspondent’s who hate America and never, ever write anything worthwhile reading.
This is not the first time Obama has complained about Fox News.
In an interview with Vox’s Ezra Klein, Obama complained about the partisan of old media outlets including MSNBC and Fox News and pointed out the benefits of bypassing them in favor of new media. Obama blamed partisan news outlets for feeding the political divide in the country.
“The balkanization of the media means that we just don’t have a common place where we get common facts and a common worldview the way we did 20, 30 years ago” he said. “And that just keeps on accelerating, you know.”
Obama cited the “Fox News/Rush Limbaugh folks” on the right and the “MSNBC folks” on the left. (Obama trying to be fair and balanced.)
“The point is that technology which brings the world to us also allows us to narrow our point of view,” he said. “That contributed to it.”
His advice to future presidents was to “try to bypass the traditional venues that create divisions and try to find new venues within this new media that are quirkier, less predictable.”
Hopefully, in the next presidency, we will have a leader who has a wider viewpoint – so all news media will be included in the news not just his progressive and Muslim media who are trying to make our country into a new world order.
