We have a number of trials being conducted at the present time.  We must remember – why should these people be given “life in prison” instead of the death penalty.  These people committed crimes that are not acceptable to humanity.  As we all know, our prisons now are “country clubs.”  

Why should these people live a life of luxury while the relatives of the dead continue to live a life of pain.  The other thing is the “insanity” plea.  This is just a free pass to freedom.  Remember the woman in Texas who killed her five children, she is now free and roaming the streets because she pleaded insanity.  That is a cop-out!  

We must stop giving those killers  “free passes.” IF YOU COMMIT THE CRIME, YOU MUST DO THE TIME OR AN EYE FOR AN EYE WHICH IS THE LAW OF RETALIATION IN WHICH THE PUNISHMENT CORRESPONDS IN KIND AND DEGREE TO THE INJURY.  But, we must be sure in all instances that the person is guilty.
