KOMMONSENTSJANE – GENERAL STATES, “THINGS AREN’T GOING WELL”

1general

After what Lt. Gen. Vincent Stewart said on Capitol Hill,  no one will feel safe. There is evil in this world, and it’s up to America to confront it before it changes our way of life.

After a pilot from Jordan was burned alive by Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists, we’re still waiting for President Barack Obama to make a powerful response. And you probably shouldn’t hold your breath.

Obama said “ISIS is like crime in any city, after each altercation you have to go in and solve the crime.”   I think Obama has watched too much TV.   His remarks remind me of the detective series back in the 1950’s entitled, Dragnet.  Jack Webb (Sgt. Joe Friday with his first partner, Barton Yarborough).  We shall call Obama,  Sgt. Joe Friday!

Each series started with:  The story you are about to see and hear is true, “Just the facts, ma’am,”  We were working the day watch phrases which became so popular as to inspire much parody – set the realistic tone of this early police drama.  So is this the way we are going to fight the war with ISIS through police action?

But when the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Lt. Gen. Vincent Stewart went to speak with the House Armed Services Committee, he didn’t hold back. He stated that the Islamic State was growing rapidly, and Obama’s response is not getting the job done.

ISIS is spreading!

The following is from the Conservative Tribune.
BREAKING: US General Exposes Obama’s Big Secret About the “Islamic State” Before Congress

Thursday, February 5th, 2015

In the wake of the entire world witnessing just how far the cowardly, barbaric radical Islamists of the Islamic State will actually go — which included burning a caged Jordanian pilot alive on camera, President Barack Obama made a few generic remarks about the future of the Islamic State.

Don’t get excited, though — his words, as usual, contained absolutely no substance.

“And it, I think, will redouble the vigilance and determination on the part of a global coalition to make sure that they are degraded and ultimately defeated,” Obama said.

But what did contain substance were the remarks of Lt. Gen. Vincent Stewart, the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.

In a nutshell, before the House Armed Services Committee, he stated that the Islamic State group was extending its reach into a growing list of countries and by that essentially let the world know that Obama’s limited airstrikes on Islamic State targets are just not doing the trick.

“With affiliates in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, the group is beginning to assemble a growing international footprint that includes ungoverned and under governed areas,” Stewart told the committee.

According to CNN, he also shed light on the increase of the number of Islamic State fighters pouring into Iraq and Syria and called the situation “troubling.”

He indicated that the Islamic State are expected to continue their global recruitment efforts to keep their numbers high, as well.

The state of the Iraqi Security Forces is also in disarray, according to Stewart. They’re unable to act on their own accord in the face of outside threats or internal ones like the Islamic State.

That’s primarily due to low morale, corruption, poor logistics and other internal issues.

In other words, without a serious global commitment from a team of nations who are ready to do whatever it takes to eradicate the cancerous Islamic State from the face of Earth, these radical Islamist terrorist groups virtually have free rein across a majority of the Middle East.

Can someone in D.C. please tell our president that this problem isn’t going away and that it’s not something that will be solved through diplomatic channels or a couple of drone strikes? Does he honestly not realize that yet?

Share this on Facebook and Twitter if you think the world is waiting with bated breath for the U.S. to step up to the plate and start cleaning house in the Middle East.  (Sorry folks, the Quran states a true Muslim cannot kill another Muslim.)
