It seems that the football-gate is not going to let up. So far, the blame has been focused on the coach and the quarterback. Why has nothing been said about the referees? Before the game starts according to my source, the referee checks all footballs for pressure and during the game the referees handle the ball after each down. During the half time, the referees check all footballs for the correct pressure. So why aren’t the referees brought in to explain why they didn’t catch the eleven deflated footballs. I haven’t heard any mention of the referees and their role since the start of this controversy.
