Police: 6 More People Sought In Attack On Lieutenants During Protests

lieutenants attacked 2 Police Search For 6 More People In Attack On Lieutenants During Protests

Police are searching for six more people (three men and three women) in an attack on two lieutenants during a protest at the Brooklyn bridge this past Saturday.  It was reported today that the protestors are the very same paid people who participated in the Occupy Wall Street sit-ins.  The only difference is they changed the name of their  group.  Mayor DeBlasio stated today on the news that this attack on the police was an “alleged attack.”  If you listen to the video of the attack,  it doesn’t sound too alleged.

Shortly afterward, the Lieutenants were sent to an area hospital while trying to arrest Baruch College Professor Linsker.  He was allegedly trying to throw a metal garbage can at officers on the bridge at the time.  As police tried to arrest the professor, another protestor intervened – pulling the man away from police and punching and kicking the cops in the face and head.  The demonstrators also knocked the two down to the ground and punched and kicked  them while the group attempted to steal their portable radios and tear away their police identification jackets.

The Police stated that attacks on our police will not be taken lightly.
