The following poem is dedicated to the mid-term elections on November 5, 2014, and was written by my son, Mike:
Twas the day after elections
And all thru the town
Liberals were crying
WIth tears running down
I, in my bathrobe
With a dog in my lap
Had turned on the TV
And laughing like crap
When all of a sudden
I heard such a noise
Obama was lamenting
Where the hell were my boys
They took from our wallets
And wanted our pay
To hand out to others
Who never worked a day
They had snatched up our money
And lied with a wink
Saying they knew better
And causing such a stink
He looked for his henchmen
Who always pulled his cart
But they were not found
A new era was to start
Where’s Soros, Where’s Reid
Where’s Biden, Where’s Ayers
Where’s Acorn, Where’s Pelosi
He screamed in despair
The truth for the day
After the elections last night
A majority of the nation
Had decided to fight
So I leave you to think
On this one final note
When you lie and deceive
It gets out the vote.
