KOMMONSENTSJANE – HOUSTON MAYOR VERSUS HOUSTON PASTORS

Following is the fight between the Mayor of Houston and the Houston Pastors regarding their sermons and the Mayor’s supporters – Wendy Davis and Leticia Van de Putte.  As we all know, Wendy  Davis, Democrat, is running against Greg Abbott, Republican, for Governor, and Leticia Van de Putte, Democrat, is running against Dan Patrick, Republican, for Lt. Governor.  This mayor’s action is an excellent example of communism at work.

I worked with women all of my life and have supervised them.  I hope you all know class and dignity when you see it.  It scares the puddin’ out of me when I see the image of these  women who seek power with an image of vengeance. So BUYER BEWARE.  Folks, it is time to root all of these dictators out of office. Obama and our government are infiltrated with Muslim Brotherhood and Progressives, who are under a cloak of communism (and this is a very good example).  Please, just vote for country and not party for once so that we can take our country back.  All of these Democrats – all over the country – are saying they do not follow Obama’s policies which is not true.  If you are running as a Democrat, you will HAVE to line your pockets with the party line and toe this line – don’t let them fool you – you know how the system works.

In 1802, Thomas Jefferson wrote to the Danbury Baptist Association. In that letter, referencing
the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, Jefferson wrote:

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man & his God, that
he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of
government reach actions only, & not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that
act of the whole American people who declared that their legislature should ‘make no law
respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,’ thus building
a wall of separation between Church and State.  What Jefferson is saying:  There is no
restrictions on religion being a part of people in  government but, government will not impose
religion or impose on religion in any form.  In other-words subpoenaing Pastors for their sermons
on a fishing expedition to see if they are speaking in opposition to an agenda that local
politicians have illegally forced upon its citizens is forbidden.  Let me also add here,  it is
also the very reason government has no business in the “sanctioning of marriage” industry,
via “marriage licensing.”  Local governments “sanctioning marriage”  is really nothing more than
a tax scheme designed to make money for the county. Allow me to set up the background to
the current situation in Houston.  In June 2013, Houston Mayor Annise Parker pushed through
a controversial measure called the “Houston Equal Rights Ordinance” generally referred to as
HERO. In a nutshell, the ordinance was designed to allow “gender confused” persons to use
whichever bathroom they felt compelled to use based on the gender identity they felt best
suited them on any given day.In opposition to this ordinance, a poll was conducted in Houston
proper in which 82% of Houstonians opposed this measure. From those results,
petitions were launched in which nearly 50,000 signatures were collected to place the ordinance
in referendum.  Of that amount, 17,269 signatures were certified by the city secretary, thus
making this issue one that should have been placed in referendum for vote by citizens of Houston.
The city attorneys however, for a variety of reasons, invalidated the signatures and set up a
fight for the century.  The invalidation of these signatures, all of which fail the “smell test,”
allowed Mayor Parker to force through the HERO ordinance.  It also allowed forces on both
the right and the left to define with precision the difference between those who support
radical left agendas and those that support traditional American values.Move forward to
October 2014,In a stunning move from Houston’s first openly lesbian Mayor Annise Parker,
subpoenas have been been served to Houston area Pastors.  In direct contradiction and
conflict to the 1st Amendment and with very little regard to Jefferson’s “wall of separation.”
Mayor Parker has demanded via the courts that Christian Pastors ‘turn over’ their sermons
or face criminal contempt of court charges.UPDATE: The language was changed from “sermons” to “speeches or presentations.”Before I move further on this very unconstitutional and tyrannical move by the progressives here in Texas, allow me to stipulate first – I don’t care that Mayor Parker is a lesbian and only point it out to illustrate her ties to the radical group GLAAD.  This “criminalization” by Mayor Parker aimed at Christian Pastors reflects her intent to establish a radical far left, gender blind agenda through coercion and intimidation.  Mayor Parker will use the government in any way specifically forbidden by the constitution,  to destroy  her opponents and opposition, even in thought or religious practice to her radical gay agenda.

What Jefferson is saying:  There is no restrictions on

religion being a part of people in  government, but,

government will not impose religion or impose on

    religion in any form.

    Picture

Furthermore, I point out that the subpoenas are leveled at Christian Pastors only since no
subpoenas have been served to Muslim Imams.  I have called the Houston Mayors office
and was told Mayor Parker will not comment or explain why she wants to review the sermons
or why they have not subpoenaed Muslim Imams as well.

Todd Starnes of Fox News has reported that ADF attorney Stanley suspects the mayor wants
to publicly shame the ministers. He said he anticipates they will hold up their sermons for
public scrutiny. In other words – the city is rummaging for evidence to “out” the pastors as
anti-gay bigots.Texas is currently in the midst of its midterm elections in which we have a
very liberal radical Senator,  Wendy Davis running for the executives chair against
Attorney General Greg Abbott.  Also, liberal Democrat Leticia Van de Putte is running to
replace outgoing Lt. Governor David Dewhurst against Republican Dan Patrick.  I thought
I would call both of the campaign headquarters and get a statement from them concerning
    their supporter Mayor Annise Parker.

    Picture

It occurred to me that since both are running for statewide elected office and both are
supported by Annise Parker, who has in fact backed and organized for them in the Houston
area, that Texans deserve to know if either or both support their fellow Democrat Annise Parker.
Texans have the right and should be aware if Wendy and Leticia support an agenda of
demoralization against average Christian citizens.  Quite frankly, Mayor Parker has stated
“Sermons are fair game.”  It is obvious she intends  to demoralize Christians and since both
candidates are supported by and support Annise Parker, it only stands to reason that absent
their  public statements to this issue, citizens are left to believe they support it.

…the mayor wants to publicly shame the ministers. He said

he anticipates they will hold up their sermons for public

scrutiny. In other words – the city is rummaging for

evidence to “out” the pastors as anti-gay bigots.

Not surprisingly,  both offices, Wendy’s in Fort Worth at 817-886-8863 and Leticia’s in
San Antonio at 210-733-6604 both declined to comment and gave me the typical run around
of “we’ll get back to you.”  Thus far, NOTHING!
Absent their comment and refusal to return my phone calls or instruct an aid to return my
request for comment, Texans must be left to believe that they approve of Annise Parkers attack.
UPDATE:  In light of Wendy’s attack upon Greg Abbott of today (October 20, 2014) on twitter
Abbott would support a ban on interracial marriage by his refusal to respond to a hypothetical
question (unlike mine to her) on Loving vs Virginia.  So Wendy Davis herself has validated my
argument (Texans of all political ideologies should be very afraid of any politician in either
party that will use extreme measures like Mayor Parker through her agenda, in this case,
to push through the LGBTQ radical agenda of GLAAD.Texans should also want to know and
demand of their statewide candidates what their position is on this radical measure that
Democrat Mayor Annise Parker is taking in Houston.

This includes Democrat candidate for Governor Wendy Davis and Democrat candidate for Lt. Governor and President of the Senate, Leticia Van de Putte.  TEXANS have the RIGHT to know if these candidates, who have publicly stood arm and arm with the GLAAD, LGBTQ community and celebrated with them, if they would further a RADICAL AGENDA of this perfidious nature in Austin.

    Picture

Finally, Texans in Texas Senate District 10, Wendy Davis’s old seat also have a right to know
if DEMOCRAT candidate Libby Willis, would support any such measures if brought to the
Senate floor since she is a liberal Democrat.

Knowing Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick and Konni Burton, I can assure Texans, none of those three
would support any measure that usurps the rights of citizens and in particular, the freedom
of religion or the expression there-of. As for Ms. Parker, Ms. Davis and Mrs. Van de Putte,
I believe they need to refer back to the Constitution and Jefferson’s letter to the Danbury
    Baptist.

Dictatorship naturally arises out of democracy, and the most aggravated

form of tyranny and slavery out of the most extreme liberty. Plato

The citizens of Houston need to have a recall election!
