Global warming is heating up again according to those protestors in New York on Monday.  I noticed that the  Leonardo DiCaprio was protesting with Al Gore.  Both of these men have an agenda for global warming – to make money – although neither one needs the money.  They keep stating that computer statistics state that we have global warming; but, is that really true because the scientists’ statistics prove them both wrong every time.  The truth is the predictions that were once made by climate change alarmist have not come to fruition.  Data simply does not show that the climate has been getting warmer, wetter or wilder.  All the climate summits in the world and all of the marches and rallies may ironically increase the collective carbon footprint, but they won’t change reality.

As we have heard, the United Nations (UN)  recently designated Leonardo as a “UN messenger of peace” for climate change, touting him as a “credible voice in the environmental movement.  Leonardo will give an acceptance speech at this week’s Climate Summit in New York City, said he feels a “moral obligation to speak out at this key moment in human history – it is a moment for action.  How we respond to the climate crisis in the coming years will likely determine the fate of humanity and our planet.”  Can a Hollywood actor be a credible source when it comes to something as complex as climate science?  It should raise a lot of red flags when people start turning to Hollywood for credible information.  Simply being an actor does not make a person an expert on climate change.

Always remember the computer’s famous words – garbage in and garbage out. You can make that computer speak any way you want.   They both have  planes (jets) and ships (boats) that would put anyone out of their circle and I am glad for them to be wealthy men because – they did build their fortune through capitalism, which neither will admit.  Leonardo needs to rethink his roots and “go home with the one who brought him to dance.” 

 But if all of these emissions are so bad – what about all of the emissions these fellows spew out as they fly and use their monstrous play toys around the world.  Wonder if these fellows have hooked up with George Soros?  How much money did Soros pay to bus all those people into New York for their protests before the United Nations speech by your leader, Obama?  How much money were these two fellows paid to show up at the march?

Where is the noise from Hollywood over the harm these policies inflict on people who are presently struggling simply to afford electricity.  Better economic activity will improve the quality of life in the U.S., but there will be fewer jobs if more excessive carbon emissions regulations are passed.  

The funny thing about this United Nations meeting on “global warming,” the biggest polluters (China and India) did not even show up.  America has been working for years to reduce emissions in this country and has been successful; but, you get to the point – until the whole world participates in this problem, if we have one (which has not been proven at this point), then we just have to do our part and then leave it alone.  If you go too far, then it will hurt our economy.  Is that the goal – to hurt America’s economy even more?

Since Leonardo is going to be a “messenger of peace” maybe he should rethink his goal and instead become a “messenger of the market.”  The free market improves people s’ lives, creates opportunity, and prosperity and at the same time is stewarding the environment.  But being a messenger of peace probably doesn’t march in the same parade as Leonardo’s progressive ideology.

Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.
