Do all of you remember when we were told to “guard” your social security number. Even to the extent that we were told “do not even carry your original social security card in your billfold.” Put it in a secure place. Now, lo and behold, the government puts it on everything. Therefore, it is like you are wearing it on your forehead. Now comes along a group on the internet that is called “Credit Headers.” This is a company that will automatically give your history to businesses and the government, including your social security number. So this is where the three credit bureaus come into play who will give the information. Why isn’t it in reverse? Why doesn’t the three bureaus ask the individual first for permission to be able to release any information? As usual, everything is assal backwards. Just a wise to the innocent – keep a check on your credit reports.
