KOMMONSENTSJANE – EBOLA IS HERE; A LAPSE IN JUDGEMENT AGAIN

October 1, 2014

The American people as usual are not being protected.  The lapse in security in this country is out of control.  The border is not being controlled; so now we have a virus throughout the country which is spreading due to the influx of people and lack of CDC control and proper vetting of diseases entering (with symptoms like polio) and now we have a man with Ebola in Dallas who was initially sent  home from the hospital with antibiotics after seeking treatment for an unknown illness.  The man, whose name has not been released, is the first case of the deadly viral infection to be diagnosed outside of Africa.  He traveled from Liberia and arrived in the U.S. on September 20.  Why hasn’t the government done what the British did and shut down all of the flights from that region?  The reason, it is all about money rather than the safety of our country.  Oh, by the way,  the CDC tells us, that all is going to be fine in our country because they are isolating this man. Time will tell!  From my window of the world, this Administration and the Democrats have not been working to protect the American people and in fact are derelict in their duties to this country by allowing this to happen.  The other lack of judgement is sending 3,000 soldiers into the country where Ebola is rampant and expect them to remain out of the reach of this disease – how stupid can you be!

Ebola virus disease is a disease of humans and other primates caused by an Ebola virus.  The symptoms start two days to three weeks after contracting the virus with a fever, sore throat,  muscle pain and headaches.  Typically, vomiting, diarrhea and rash follow, along with decreased functioning  of the liver and kidneys.  Around this time, affected people may begin to bleed both within the body and externally.

The virus may be acquired upon contact with blood or bodily fluids of an infected animal.  Prevention includes decreasing the spread of the disease from infected animals to humans.  No specific treatment for the disease is yet available.

Obama plans to send 3,000 military forces to fight the Ebola virus in West Africa.  Why are we putting  “boots on the ground?”  The initiative will be to train as many as 500 health care workers a week.  Erect 17 healthcare facilities in the region of 100 beds each.  Set up a joint command to coordinate between U.S. and international relief efforts.  Provide home health care kits to hundreds of thousands of households including 50,000 that the U.S. Agency for International Development will deliver to Liberia this week.  Carry out home and community-based campaign to train local populations on how to handle exposed patients.

Would you please tell me why they are not sending the NATO soldiers to do this job?  Our soldiers should not be used for humanitarian purposes.  These men are not trained to be nurses.  All this leader is doing is continuing to expose our country to Ebola by bringing these people  into our country who have the disease and  now sending our military to serve as nurses.  Sooner or later there will be a slip-up and our country will end up with the disease here.
