As the youngest of a large family, advice on matters was always floating around the house. Therefore, just listening and observing the questions and the advice given by the matriarch was always questioned by the siblings which I found out was normal for any family. A lot of the advice was not adhered to and later the resulting answer was, “you made your bed and you have to lie in it.”
In other words the decision the family member made was not in their best interest in the end and the person had to live with the consequences which in some cases was not how the person intended the decision to end. Then the matriarch went to the next level to “master the lessons of your present circumstances” because we do not move forward by resisting what is undesirable in our life.
We have to move forward in order to grow and at times we have to accept change that we really don’t like. Every thing happens for a reason and with each reason we learn a valuable lesson before we can move forward. As we live our life important things are happening to us and the people surrounding us. We may not be able to identify it; but, each day is important and should be lived with the thought as if it were your last.
The battle is not overcome by force but by surrendering into ourselves because as we live we learn to accept changes which are the result of decisions we make. So accept the lessons of your present situation while accepting everything which is not labeled for in time you will clearly see by reflecting back on the road you have travelled and see how the pieces of the puzzle fell into place because you had the trust and gratitude each day of someone greater than yourself.
