We can’t celebrate any of these exceptional anniversaries any more  because “remember our leader stated to the world that we are not an exceptional country.”  Therefore, he did not want to make any noise about this celebration, only in private, because he is leading from behind and does not want to remind the world about all of these outstanding achievements  – but they did celebrate in private.  So don’t tell anyone.  On July 22 (the lunar landing was on July 20, 1969) the Apollo 11 anniversary of the moon landing celebration was held in private at the White House with Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins, and Carol Armstrong (Neil died in 2012) with no Media having access and besides the Main Street Media has given him a few jabs recently about some of these scandals – so he is punishing them.  Josh Ernest stated “it was merely a scheduling matter.”  Obama was leaving for his Western states’ fund raisers and would not delay the trip even for a few hours.   It was not a scheduling matter.

 It was a deliberate attempt by the Obama administration to avoid coverage of the Apollo 11 astronauts, particularly Neil Armstrong, who were heavily critical of Obama’s handling of the space program and cancellation of the Constellation program in 2010.  Neil Armstrong spoke before Congress in 2010, harshly comparing Obama to a 16th century monarch and condemning his administration for its handling of NASA and America’s space program.  Since the program was cancelled,  America’s astronauts have been hitching a ride on the Russian’s space shuttle.  America’s cost is just $70.7 million for a single shuttle ride, just pocket change for this leader.   A video follows of Neil Armstrong addressing Congress.
