Michael Moore is certainly not having a wabi sabi moment. Wabi sabi is a catchall phrase that combines the notions of wabi (things that are fresh and simple) and sabi (things that have beauty stemming from age).   His statement today that capitalism is “evil” tells you what a hypocrite he is. Here is a man who has lived off the capitalist system and then trashes it. That seems to be the trend of all socialists after they  milk the system, they feel above reproach.  And to think – he owns eight houses and just one of them which is 10,000 square feet could be a hotel to house some of these illegals. This would certainly show empathy in helping others by extending a hand and being a role model.  Michael is not one of those people who came out of the financial boom of the late 90’s and, now with the tragedies of current events,is really seeing the importance of having a sweeter approach to life.   If he hates capitalism so much, maybe he should give away seven of those houses if he feels so guilty about being so fortunate.  He is just one of those guys who became successful by mistake and now wants to make everyone miserable by taking the liquor out of our mixed drinks and the sugar out of our candy.  Just think, if Michael accepted the wabi sabi way of life, he could become the beauty of the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete and thereby cherish things in life that are real and eternal, instead of his artificial and fleeting ways.
