We use to all read newspapers every morning.  But most of the people have stop reading the newspapers because they skew the truth or just flat lie.  Just recently the Associated Press (AP) took a picture at a democratic fundraiser  that was sponsored for Obama in Denver, CO, with children and beautiful trees and reported that it was taken at the border where our leader had visited. Two things, the border doesn’t have green grass and beautiful trees to begin with and he did not go to the border.

When I do read the newspaper, the advice that Walter Cronkite, who was the anchor for CBS evening news from 1962 to 1981, gave to the readers always comes to mind. He advised the people – Always be a little bit questioning of the facts.  Where did they come from?  What is the source?  Is the source as reliable as the newspaper thinks it is?  Is there any evidence that the paper has failed to seek both sides of the issue?  In other words, the secret is to attack the reading of a newspaper as if  you were the editor himself.

Those were the days when newspaper gave you real hard news not these lies that are printed every day to mislead the people.  I bet Cronkite has rolled over in his grave many times with the news that the main street media is putting out today backing this socialist democratic agenda.  He was the best!  We never knew what his political position was until he retired and you could not recognize by his reporting because he did not thrust his personal views on the people.  In the end, we found out he was a Democrat – who would’ve thunk it!
