This woman was finally  released in Sudan due to the pressure of the world ; but, how many others are still held prisoners in this part of the world.  When a country violates a person’s human rights, where is the world court?  Sudan has stated that executing Meriam Ibrahim’s for being a Christian isn’t “violating her human rights.”  In the very same statement, it claimed it supports religious freedom.  She was still on death row at the time for being a Christian.  She faced 100 lashes for marrying an American Christian – before she was to be hung.  Sudan is pure evil and is playing a political game with families lives.  They did free her but not before the pressure of the world was put on them.  Can you image this women, a toddler, and her newborn baby,  who was born in prison, suffered with her until her release.  This country is a disgrace to the world and the world is a disgrace for allowing any country to spin this kind of deception to silence outrage.  When is the world going to outlaw any country for allowing the suffering of human beings by a political tyrant for political reasons?
