The 9/11 Museum opened amid some controversy.  The black tie reception which was held close to the unidentified remains and the gift shop seem to be at the top of the list.  The other complaint was from a group of clergy on the panel who complained about the reference to the 9/11 terrorists as Islamist and uses the term Jihad which leaves the clergy worried the film will leave visitors with a prejudiced view of Islam.  The seven-minute film explains the historical roots of the attack and the ideology of the terrorists and features images of terrorist training camps’ other attacks which there have been many.    In order to be true to the facts, to be objective, and to remain alert, we must continue to focus on the terrorists and not let our guard down.  The film also includes pictures of Muslims who were also killed in the attack, were mourners, and were recovery workers.  But the fact is we are at war with Terrorist Muslims throughout the world and we have a lot of them living in our midst and enjoying the freedom and benefits of our country.  We must not tip-toe around the facts because they are in our midst.  We have lost a lot of blood and treasure in fighting this scourge.  We must not water down the attack to make any group feel less responsible.
