It seems the “chickens have come home to roost.” Jeri Wright, daughter of Reverend Jeremiah Wright (THE GD AMERICA AND OBAMA’S FORMER PREACHER), was accused of participating in a fraud scheme led by a former suburban police chief and the chief’s husband that involved a $1.25 million state grant.  Wright was charged with two counts of money laundering, two counts of making false statements to federal officers, and seven counts of giving false testimony to a grand jury.  The money laundering count carries a maximum penalty of up to 20 years in prison, while the other charges carry penalties of up to five years.  The state grant was for a not-for-profit work and educational program known as, “We Are Our Brother’s Keeper.”  The reverend was the Chicago pastor whose inflammatory church sermons  often condemned the U.S. attitudes on race, poverty, the Iraq War and other issues and became a focus during Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Obama talked around the indictment with a speech spiced with  salt- and pepper-coated race relations.

This is just another  Chicago corruption story which reaches the highest element of our government.  Strange our main street media have  not touched this one even with a ten-foot pole.
