The Republican Party has always been labeled the “party of the rich,” right? I have heard that phrase all of my life, and as, recently, as this last year, by relatives who I would refer to as uninformed voters; but, I am sure they look at me in the same light. Then I always rethink, now why do we think in different terms – is it that we are afraid of the truth? Relatives of the past always beat that drum, this notion that we are supposed to be “democrats” because we are not rich in money; but, were rich in family, rich in aspirations, and rich in love of country. Well folks, everyone is going to be terribly disappointed. We hear it in every election cycle. The facts of the matter is “that ain’t so.” I grew up in the Lyndon Johnson era in Texas. This party during an election was so crooked, it would put a snake in the shade; but , it was always whispered only in private circles. The problem with the Democratic party is it has been smoking that weed so long that they are drunk on power as you can tell by the shape of our country. The Democrats tirelessly point itself as the party of the average man – it might have been at one time. But, that ain’t so any more – The Democrats are the party of the rich by fooling the people all of these years. Their main goal is to keep everyone but themselves on their knees and poor. They use this conundrum when they complain about GOP opposition to raising the minimum wage and extending unemployment benefits. But, in Congress, the wealthiest district among the American people are the Democrats, not Republicans. Of the 10 richest House districts, only two have Republican congressmen. Democrats claim the top six, sprinkled along the East and West Coasts. New York and California have the richest districts supported by a Democratic congressman. As was stated by the Republicans during the last election, “We are the party of the people who want to get rich.”
The richest district in the United States is New York’s 12th congressional district, which includes Manhattan’s upper east side, as well as parts of Queens and Brooklyn. DEMOCRAT Carolyn Maloney is in the 11th term representing this district. So folks, these Democrats are still trying to fool the people of this country.
My question is, which party has the most people enrolled in food stamps, unemployment, etc? The 52 percent that are riding in the wagon while the rest are pulling the wagon?
