WOMEN AND CHOICES OF BEHAVIOR

Why is it that women have such a hard time with relationships with men and women?

In recent statistics 40 percent of bullies in the workplace are women.  Why are we attacking our own?  The experts say that the workplace environment rewards aggression and creates competitiveness and for women to be successful they have to play by the rules.  Yet, some people stress that women were thought to fight for attention from others, starting with their parents.  The fact is women to women relationships need to be repaired to advance the way we work and live together.  

We have the option as women to see other women as allies or enemies.  I believe that gender should not play a role in promotions; but, supporting each other in the workplace can impact how we are viewed as a whole, “Together we stand – divided we fall.”  

We must examine our own behavior and see  how we can work together to extend a hand to other women.  As we move forward, we can stop this conflict between women. Use your strength to empower your fellow women.  The present government is using women as a tool to further their (men’s) causes and therefore women are betraying each other.   

Women have had excellent successes; but, the successes do not correlate in the relationship area.  Individual women do have it all; but, if you look at the entire scene, women are not successful in relationships as they were in the past.  As women become older, the field of men in their 30’s become less available.  If you find somebody who loves  you – make it work.  A lot of people always think the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.  I have met successful, ambitious women who love their careers.  But, when it comes to dating, they only want men who make a good living  – in most cases, make more money than they do (and in some cases lose their men friends because they insist on a financial statement).   Are these women filtering out great guys because of their financial insecurity?  

I feel women should keep an open mind and date people for who they are as a person – not what their financial statement reflects.  As you know, behind every successful man is a woman who helped him arrive at this destination and vice versa .   In fact, most corporations before promoting a man or woman into a high position, the spouse is interviewed to see if they will fit into the corporate mold.
