We can thank the Almighty – the Republican voters in Texas have not lost their minds like some parts of the country who are willing to give up their freedom for the promise of more “freebies.” Texas voted Tuesday for common sense ideas and I am proud of that. I hope all of the other states follow suit. The following Republican referendum items were voted on:
The Affordable Act won 93% to 7% to repeal the Act.
Texas recipients of taxpayer-funded public assistance should be subject to random drug testing as a condition of receiving benefits won 95% to 5%.
All elected officials and their staff should be subject to the same laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances as their constituents won 99% to 1%.
Texas should support Second Amendment liberties by expanding locations where concealed handgun license-holders may legally carry won 87% to 13%.
Texans should be free to express their religious beliefs, including prayer, in public places won 97% to 3%.
The old phase – I am proud to be a Texan and bursting with pride. Driving down the interstate we are beginning to see license plates from all over the country and that makes me uncomfortable because people are flocking to Texas to look for the American Dream which has been lost in other parts of the country. I just hope they drained their liberal brains when they left and burned them. This goes to any outsider no matter what state or country you come from. You either integrate or you are invited to leave.
