THE KING OF THE HOUSE.

We all obey laws because we are aware that unpleasant consequences could result if we do not.  We don’t have to experience the consequences to know this is so.   We know because it was taught or explained to us what might happen or we saw the consequences on television or read about them. When it comes to our dogs  – words have no real meaning – it is what they associate the word with that counts.   You could substitute the word outside with treat and as long as you use  that same word every time when you take him outside, it would be mean outside.  Consistency in word usage is the key.  Their vocabulary is limited.  The tone of a person’s voice is also meaningful.  I have written about  Beau, a Bichon Frise,  on several occasions and how we became his owners.  Now I can introduce him to all of you with a photo.  As I stated earlier,  he is a blessing in our household and thank my grand nieces for giving him to us after my sister, Bettie, and my brother-in-law, Bob,  who were  his owners went to Heaven.

Beau’s eyes are navy blue.  He is a 13-year old,  happy dog.   Sorry for the button eyes.
