This story is about a person who invited guests to dinner; but, a couple of days before the dinner, he has a television segment telling the whole country that all of these people are incompetent. Now is that appropriate? That is exactly what our leader did to the GOP Governors who were invited to meet with him for four days. His statement was that these Governors are not using sound business practices. You have to remember all of these GOP Governors’ states have been successful with jobs and the economy and the Democrats’ states are in the red and do not have jobs. What a way to start out a get together. Some times I wonder about this fella! Life in the White House must get confusing.
A lesson in etiquette follows: What is respect? Respect is honoring other people and their feelings. It is the belief that, “My right to swing my fist ends where your nose begins.” Finally, it is people having enough faith in their own way of living that another person’s way of living doesn’t threaten them. Who is to say which way is the right way? Etiquette shows us how to reach this level. End of lesson!
