Have you recently met a young man or woman and heard the words, yes mam or no mam or yes sir or no sir?  Every now and then it happens!  When it does  – I turn around to see who this person is that is speaking so strangely.  Almost like a foreign language.  People now a days cut young people a lot of slack.  But, isn’t it nice to hear it.  I wonder – do parents teach their children manners anymore? 

Early on, there was a television show host, Art Linkletter who built his career around extracting words from kids that were so funny such as – Why is her nose so big?  What is alimony?  Why is that woman in a wheel chair?  Where did I come from?  Wouldn’t it be nice to have another program of this kind?  It would certainly bring some humor to this world of shows with nothing but killing, explosions, and cars and people flying in the air.  Let’s get real!
