IMMIGRATION AND POVERTY.

Following is a summary in my own words of Roy Beck’s video on  immigration.  The subject  – Is immigration into the United States really helping world poverty?   We have taken in 1 million legal immigrants every year since 1990.  The elites are telling us that it is helping world poverty.  Can the U.S. help world poverty?  Millions of dollars are spent each year in foreign aid but it never gets to the people who need it due to the corruption in those countries.  In order to correct this, the U.S. has to set up a system to follow the money trail.   Is it the U.S.’s fault that these countries do not want to lift up their people?  The reason they do not want them lifted is because the people would have leverage.  All of these people, including Mexico, have to be helped in the country they live.  We continue stripping the best to feather our own nest and leave the poor and sick behind because there is no way they can immigrate.  These countries never progress and it is not because they do not have the natural resources even with all of the foreign aid they receive from the U.S.

Right now Africa has 650 million, India has 890 million, China has 480 million, rest of Asia has 810 million, and Latin American has 105 million people who make less than $2 per day.  This adds up to 3 billion people in the world who make less than $2 per day.  In addition, there are an additional “Others” in the world who make less than $2 per day – for a total of 5.6.

If the countries want the help, we need to use our Embassy in those country to do the heavy lifting by establishing and sending competent business people to run the embassy like a business instead of sending incompetent party animals. Let’s help them in their own country so they can be members and help in their own progression.

Every year that we bring in more immigrants, we are hurting our own country by burdening the schools, infrastructure, the unemployed, working poor, and the most vulnerable people in our society regardless of the effect on our natural resources.
