It was surprising to hear that in Japan they have a special holiday on February 2 of each year to commemorate “Twin Tail Day.”  This day is set aside for any women who want to comb their hair in a pigtail style hair-do.  The best part of the event each person posts their style on the internet and the men have a field day.  This reminds me of my grand niece who is a physician and administers to children.  She was having a hard time giving the children their shots before school started so she braided her hair and placed a wire in each braid and wired it straight up in the air to deflect their attention.  The children were so enamored with how she looked they forgot she was giving them a shot.  Result was – no crying.
