People can behave very badly when travelling whether it is by bus, plane, train, or even in a car. Plane travelling is mostly done in my family. Observing the mode of travel before and after a trip is interesting. Upon arriving in your seat, people are either very friendly or diffident due to being crammed in the same tight space. The space as defined by each person is clean and neat with books placed in their proper seat area in front of the traveler. When exiting the plane, train, or bus – it is a total wreck. Garbage littered all over the floor, ear plugs on the floor, and blankets on the floor. I wondered if anyone ever thought to put a sign on each seat that states, “your Mother does not work here.” Do people feel that because a person purchased a ticket to use that seat it meant complete destruction of the area? The flight attendants gives everyone a chance by passing multiple times requesting any throw away items but that seems to go to deaf ears. Do you treat your castle at home the same way? You should leave your area on the plane, train, or bus in the same condition you found it. Let’s help the airlines by cleaning up after ourselves – maybe they will lower the ticket price!
