If you get a chance and have a non-duty day, go to the mall and observe all of the robots walking with their devices and are completely oblivious as to their surroundings. Even if they have a companion, they have their head stuck in their machine. The funniest scene I have witnessed are six people dinning and each of them have their head stuck down looking at their machines with no conversation. They could have saved a lot of money by staying home. Or I bet it was one of those parties where everyone brought their machine and have a “machine watching party.” Another funny was at the grocery store a young lady was talking on her cell phone and the remark I heard was “I am in Aisle 6 at Super S.” Now would anyone be interested in what aisle you are in at the grocery store. What a waste of time! The government requests all people to be observant of our surroundings – this is not possible in a robot nation. If I were the rule maker, I would have a rule that would set aside time during the day to check your machines or have a buzz on the machine when an important message arrives. Every message is not for instant viewing and can be viewed during “viewing time.” Let’s all declare a “wake up and smell the roses” by limiting this addiction to the machines. As a nation, we are beginning to look stupid by being led around by our machines. I bet you can’t do it – all of you will probably have to have counselling.
