Do you think Reid will come to the table and negotiate?  So far, he has been very stubborn and said “no way, but the highway for the Congress.”  I have always heard that when people age in life they get more set in their ways.  It seems to be Reid is the one who is taking the toll road instead.  The nice thing about the shutdown is “that it keeps the Democrats from doing any more damage to the country” than they already have.    What they could do is have a “round robin!”  They could sit down and work out their differences and then have all signatures written in a circle to avoid making any name stand first – and then the leader could not make any one person walk the plank in the Democratic Socialist Party.  We shall see!
