This week will  spell out the future of our country with the Senate and the Obamacare bill.  Reid says the Congress’s bill on paying the country’s bills and defunding Obamacare is “dead on arrival.”  So,  how does one man have the control of a body of men who are all duly elected to represent their states?  He and our leader are determined to hurt our country.  The country wants to see how each senator will vote – for or against the will of the people!  Why is Reid’s Democratic Socialist party so important to him rather than what is good for the country?  This vote in the Senate will tell the tale for the 2014 election. 

Old dogs are quite willing to be taught new tricks – provided the new ones are just like the old ones.

Yes, we are finding out our own Republican Elite are fighting against the will of the American people.  McConnell reported this morning that “Obamacare is the law.”   So how many other laws are on the shelf and not being enforced –  so what is the deal on Obamacare?  The Senate has been rigging the bills that are sent over from the Congress.  Corruption is the name of the game.

Thank you to all of those Republican Senators who assisted Ted Cruz, who spoke all night, for the right to have a real vote  for the defunding of Obamacare and for his fight against a symbolic vote in the Senate.  Where were Senators  McCain, Graham, and McConnell in this fight – I guess it was past their bedtime!

This reminds me of the story of the little boy who encounters four hungry tigers, and surrenders his colorful new clothes, shoes, and umbrella so they will not eat him.  The tigers are vain and each thinks he is better dressed than the others.  They chase each other around a tree until they are reduced to a pool of melted butter.  The little boy recovers his clothes and his mother makes pancakes out of the butter. This story is still  used in Japan; but, it is no longer used in America because it is considered racist.  It is still a good story regardless of what characters you put in it. 

Senator Reid needs to allow at least two amendments if he plans to continue with Obamacare.  That is to remove all waivers in the bill and include everyone – the leader, Congress, Senate, all government employees, unions – if they insist on going forward.  This means anyone that has been exempted.  What is good for the American people should at least be good for the President and everyone else who is exempted!  Why is it so good for us and not good enough for them?
