In many families there always seems to be the self-proclaimed “sheep.” I have asked a number of people why they consider themselves the “sheep” of a given family? They never have an answer for me. Then, I wonder – how does this happen!
After mulling this point over, I have decided it is a self-proclamation for lack of energy, drive, or motivation. Usually, the sheep will pop up in large families where you have a lot of competition and the individual did not make the right decisions or ran with the wrong crowd. Most times though, it is lack of initiative – and always proclaiming himself as the “sheep” brings the desired attention he craves from the family.
