Haliya Pendeleton’s father, Nathaniel, was on the O’Reilly program discussing his daughter’s death. She was shot while in a park in Chicago. This was a young girl who had a bright future which was cut short by a senseless killing by being at the wrong place at the wrong time. How many Haliya killings will we have before Chicago wakes up? As we all know, Chicago has the toughest gun laws, which are unconstitutional, and still the bad guys are the ones that have access to the guns and the innocent victims are cut down. Her father wants “tougher gun laws.” How much tougher can you get? He does not want “pat and frisk.” None of this makes sense because the people in the communities just sit and do nothing. Just more killings every day. Why doesn’t the community join forces and patrol their own community if they don’t want the police involved? Just talking about the carnage and doing nothing doesn’t get it. All of you neighborhood men – man up and protect your families. You can do it.
