DOES THIS BURN YOU UP?

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?  In the past years,  the forest underbrush was cleared by controlled burns; but, for some reason this was stopped.  So now we have all of these fires throughout the U.S. simply because we have all of this undergrowth that is just ready for a fire.  As we all know the government sets aside the forest area; and, the forest is protected and managed by the federal government.  The Forest Service, a part of the Department of Agriculture, manages 150 national forests in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.  These forests cover about 180,000,000 acres, an area larger than Texas.  What is causing all of these fires –  is it negligence or intentional?  A lot of wasted lives and homes have been lost in trying to stop the fires.  Just look at the number of fires raging at the present time.  Something is not right.  We have got to rethink how fires are managed because the way they are presently fighting fires is not working.  What about using robots to fight these fires instead of human lives with the humans managing the robots?  To begin with, they could use the robots to keep the underbrush cleared.
