SAFE HARBOR

The Department of Education in Washington issued some safety guidelines for the coming school year.  They were:  Run away from the terrorist as fast as you can.  Hide in a secure place.  Use a chair to throw at the terrorist.  You can’t outrun a bullet to begin with.  Is this all they have to offer for the safety of our children?  What about a “security guard” at every school and select certain teachers or administrators in staged areas of the school to have a permit to have a concealed gun.  Install a fence around the perimeter.  Have only one designated entrance and lobby area for visitors to enter, sign up, and remain.  No admittance to children in the classrooms.  Especially have terrorist drills just like fire drills so children will know what to expect.  Practice, Practice, Practice!
