SMOKE AND MIRRORS

In the 60’s people took acid to make the world weird.  Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it  normal.  Is this what is wrong with our government?  Yesterday, Hillary made a speech in San Francisco about the Voting Rights Act.  I guess this will be her new gig since she won’t confess about Benghazi.  She had lunch with our leader and days later an indictment was issued for the Benghazi attackers.  Hmmmm – coincidence or planned?  She suggested there are people who are left out of the voting process such as African-Americans, women, gays and lesbians, and people with disabilities.  I am going to drag out the old violin and play that same song, second verse, it could be better, but it’s bound to be worse,  “How many times are we going to have to listen to that old story.”   Folks,  we all know in this day and age there are vans that will pick up voters and take them to the polls.  They will come to your home and register you.  They will give you a free birth certificate.  If people are shut out,  it is because they want to be shut out.  It seems she is calling on activists to mobilize in their communities for the law to be put back in force.  (Sounds like her college protesting days – I wonder if she will march too.)  Is it so that the  White House can control the voting as they have done in the past with the baton  twirling man at the polls?  She mentions going to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas to help people register to vote in the old days.  That must have been the year when all of the dead  people voted.  The only thing the Plantation Party is worried about is that with the Voter Picture ID  they will not be able to have one person vote three times as they did  in Ohio in the last election and then appear on TV bragging about it.  Same thing is happening in other states throughout the country.   With a picture Voter ID and a van to pick you up and take you to the polls,  if necessary, everyone should be able to vote.   So folks all of this is nothing but “smoke and mirrors.”
