The process of electing a president is a long, hard process in America.  You have to be one tough dude to ride the wave.  At the present time, the Republican Party has a mixed bag of excellent talent with Rubio, Paul, Cruz, Gowdy, and Christi as newcomers in the political arena; but, they all have a lot of experience in the business world which is certainly needed since one out of every two politicians turn out to be disasters.  It seems that Rubio has held his own in the Senate and seems to get along with the others.  Paul is very plain-spoken which is good.  Cruz has done an excellent job; but, he is ruffling a lot of feathers and I really like that.  Gowdy really impresses me with his law knowledge.  Christi resembles the tough guy in the room –  in the old days in business you had to rule by “fear” to survive.  The halls of the government have come alive with all of this new talent.   The old timers like the McCain’s do not like the boat being rocked and have referred to some of the members as “wackos.”  As we all know,  McCain is not a true Republican.  How can he be with two democrats in his household.  I understand that the “thrill up his leg” Chris Matthews called Cruz a “terrorist” today.  When this happens that means they are scared and don’t know how to one-up Cruz.  It seems that Christi and Paul got into a dust-up.  But that is good.  When this happens you know that you have people with different ideas in the party instead of sauerkraut.  I just hope when all of them return from vacation and the budget battle begins, I hope they can bring some common sense into the mix.  Right now,  “the governments got the gold and the people are getting the shaft.”
