Congratulations to Bill O’Reilly for bringing out the facts on the race issue. This is a subject that no one wants to be responsible for because, if you do, you are immediately tagged a “racist.” This has been long time coming. It seems the blender has been whirling around for years with no results. The blacks call the whites racist if they even bring up the subject. And, as long as it stays on the shelf, the only people prospering are the race hustlers. We have seen and witnessed all kinds of black leaders – some noble and others who have not been honest. Nothing will be accomplished until the black people take the bull by the horns and make up their own mind to be self-reliant and quit blaming others for their failures. They must take responsibility for their own future and teach their children the same. Education must be in the forefront. Some of the heads of the black churches could certainly help their people by preaching a vision of being a faithful, inclusive community which would enable them to grow in their relationship with all people in the country instead of preaching hate.
O’Reilly stressed that families must be established and children structured in that format. That is true; but, they must come off that mind-set that the more babies you have the more money you receive from the government which has been passed on from generation to generation. Each generation must establish a self-reliance attitude or this race will never progress. I think the country has been hand-holding too long. The landscape is changing and it now shows there are other races in this country who are also minorities, who are a part of the mix, and who are not black but are eager to learn, work and progress.
