Politics and egos are forcing aside sound judgement in the country after the Zimmerman verdict.  Are these people feeding the egos of politicians?  It looks like they are piling on Mr. Zimmerman.  Our leader and the attorney general didn’t help by their comments.  When is Mr. Zimmerman’s fifth amendment going to come into play (double jeopardy)?  When are people going to stand up for Mr. Zimmerman?  Didn’t his race help put our leader back into office?  Rather than stay neutral, our Black Caucus  ladies stepped into the fray by looking like a bunch of alligators swimming in a pond just waiting for the bait.   Being a Texas, I loved that cowboy hat one of the ladies was wearing.  Another comment that I thought was interesting was that young black men are not respected – folks,  no one is given a certificate for respect  – it is earned!  Respect starts at  home.   My question is, why did our head politicians (our leader and attorney general)  try to further divide the country?  Sooner or later, the true facts will emerge.  If I had to guess, our leader’s poll numbers are sinking and he is losing his base.  I guess this is one way of trying to bring everyone back into the fold by using the race card all week.
